Our learn to swim program follows American Red Cross guidelines and all instructors are Red Cross certified. We offer a variety of Aquatics Programs designed to meet the needs of all ages and ability levels. Not only is swimming fun and full of wonderful health benefits, but learning to swim is an important life skill. Please contact Michelle McGhee (303 269-8404) if you would like to schedule a hosted birthday party or rent a room. Walk-in birthday parties/groups may not be allowed. Parties and groups of more than 10 must coordinate their visit with Aquatics management prior to coming in. Swimmers who arrive early will not be granted access to the pool area until open swim begins. To avoid crowding in our lobby and common areas, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to open swim time. Children 5 and under must have an adult in the water, wearing a swimsuit, and within arms reach at all times. Important Information for Family (Open) SwimĪll children under 12 must be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult. Using good safety awareness and judgement.The Trails Recreation center boasts an impressive aquatics facility with something everybody can enjoy! Amenities include a leisure pool with zero-depth entry, current channel, two waterslides, and 5ft open swim area, a 4-lane, 25-yard lap pool, hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna. ![]() Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the District’s safety program.Establish and nurture communication with outside resources valuable to your programming including public and private organizations.Prepare and monitor scheduling and payroll for your staff.To include conducting and managing the annual and/or seasonal performance review process. Provide direction, leadership and motivation to staff under your supervision.Hire, train and evaluate all Club Fitness staff.Prepare bid documents and purchase orders to be approved by the Superintendent of Recreation. ![]() Maintain internal cash controls and appropriate accounting procedures.Prepare and monitor the budget for areas under your supervision.Lead and or assist with Recreation Department special events.Evaluate/survey all programs/participants within your assigned area.Maintain required departmental records and records of programs and class participation statistics.Prepare annual goals and objectives relative to your programs.Maintain and control merchandise inventory.Submit monthly usage to insurance-based programs.Prepare and distribute monthly newsletter.Complete programming for areas under your supervision from ideas to program evaluation.Prepare board summaries, monthly reports.Hire, train, supervise and evaluate maintenance staff.Develop budget requirements for golf club maintenance operations.Work with the Golf Operations Supervisors on a daily basis to prevent maintenance interference with play.Supervise irrigation management of golf course and park systems. ![]()
